Certainly. Some people like to think of it that wine is "above" that, but booze is slang for an alcoholic drink. Just as people try not to be classify alcohol as a drug, but it is.

yes. its a boozy drink

Yes Wine is a booze as it's fermented grapes juice whichever product undergoing fermentation turns into an alcoholic beverage. the fermentation meaning is a process in which an agent causes an organic substance to break down into simpler substances; especially, the anaerobic breakdown of sugar into alcohol so now u know wine is an alcohol and thus its a booze. Altho the kick one gets out of it will b when it's consumed heavily unline whisky( is made from fermented grains), beer( fermenting a cereal (or mixture of cereals) flavoured with hops) or any other hard liquor. So all alcoholic beverages have to undergo the process of fermentation to get their relevant term.

Any type of alcoholic beverage is "booze".
