What kind of alcoholic drinks have the lowest calories in it ?!

Question:

What kind of alcoholic drinks have the lowest calories in it ?

I'm sure it's not beer, but what about wine and all of the popular spirits, ie vodka, tequilla, rum, gin etc.? Which type has the lowest calories?

Answers:
it is light beer

Aqua

all the clear spirits have the lowest calories like gin, malibu, vodka etc, and if you mix them with low cal mixer eg. slim line tonic or diet lemonade even better! beer, lage etc are the worst!

I believe it is actually light beer. I have seen a list which stated the calories of alcohol recently and it was light beer. If I find that info I will point you in that direction.

Alcohol has 7 calories per gram no matter what form it's in.
Different drinks have other sources of calories but it would seem that red wine would be the best way to go.

light beer would be the lowest in caleries. most of the cals. in
coctails comes from the mixers [coke, mixes, etc. ive always read that wine, beer, liquor, are all about 150 cals. also the clear liquors are purer than dark liquors. dependind on how much you consume at a time id go with shots of your favorite
liquor for the least caleries..
light beer is lower but the carbination does something make you gain more weight..

the white stuff and the clear stuff -They are all about the same across the board. Nothing sweet -Champagne (my fav) is out.
BEST bet -I will give you two: A "dry" chardanay wine, or barcardi (white) and diet coke.

I have worked very hard to do the research for you over the years. Very hard. No need for you to go through all that.
Just trust me. : ) Just don't drive. : )

Actually the beer is almost calorie for calorie, it's just that you drink a lot more of it than you would a cocktail. Besides it DOES give you that beer belly. Not sure how that works, but I have seen many an old lady that drank beer for many years.
You know, the kind with a grit hangin out the sides of their mouths? But they can be mighty skinny, real skinny. But have a big ol' beer belly. So that keeps me away from it!!!
Just that pretty image in my mind.

If your drinking why are you concerned about calories, the abuse of alcohol negates the benefits of a low calorie drink
