Is it illegal to use 151 to set a drink on fire in columbus ohio?!

Question:

Is it illegal to use 151 to set a drink on fire in columbus ohio?

I'm a bartender at a local bar, and I've always use 151 to set a drink on fire...A guest told me that was illegal....I didn't think it was so I am trying to find out the answer.

Thanks in advance.

Answers:
It could be illegal. When the fire marshal comes by for his annual inspection, you could ask him. Doesn't it make a neat show though?

oh, i like when the bar keep pours it out, on a long line accros the top of the bar, and lights it, and the flame shoots accross the bar, and then when it goes out, it makes a nice shine. that didnt answer your question, but i dont see why that would be a big deal, i think flamming drinks in a boozing atmosphere is a great idea!

I live in Central Ohio and have worked in the bar business almost 25 years. I've seen plenty of bartenders set drinks on fire with 151. Just remember to blow it out before you drink it.
I saw a guy set his beard on fire once.

That guy sounds like he's just looking for an argument.

no, no,no in Columbus alcohol flows like the mighty olentangy, and burns like sofas after we beat mich@$%!
