...was just asked this 'intelligent' question: Is Wild Turkey Liquer made using turkey extract? Hey, give the kid an answer.

I know what it is and what it is made of....just cracked me up that my teenaged kid asked me this......I just HAD to post it.

Your answer... It's not. The Wild Turkey liqueur is a sweet cordial. It is made with Wild Turkey brand bourbon whiskey. No turkeys, wild or domestic, are harmed during it's production. As for it's name, in the 1800's the Ripy family began making the bourbon whiskey that would become Wild Turkey on a place called Wild Turkey Hill in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
