This question is not in reference to myself. A friend forgets a conversation we had right before he got drunk, and I am trying to figure out if his drinking may have contributed to his sketchy memory of the conversation.

Although there's some connection between drinking and memory he should remember.
Does he have some other problem?
Or does he just not want to remember?
