I Rarely Drink Anymore but...?!

Question:

I Rarely Drink Anymore but...?

My husband and I finally have some alone time this weekend and on one of the nights we want to get totally blitzed. I drank when I was younger but haven't drank much for the past few years because I started getting hangovers. Does anyone know of any remedies to prevent or minimize a hangover? If it makes a difference I drink Rum, especially flavored ones. Please don't tell me the answer is not to drink - I've already said I rarely do. Serious answers only so I can just have a good time without paying too big of a price :)

Answers:
stick to one type of drink (preferably not the c super fruity ones), drink a lot of water to stay hydrated, and eat some crackers and take a tylenol before going to sleep/passing out.

Limit the hang over and drink vodka on the rocks with lemon & a splash of water and not the flavored booze - that crud will get you sick before you get drunk. Drink lots of water as you drink through the night. Plan to sleep in late the next morning.
Have a good time!!!

when i did drink...if i got a hangover i would just drink a beer the next morning when i woke up it took away everything. you can also try taking an 8oz glass of water and mixing in a tsp. of baking soda, stir it up and chug it! drink it fast as you can. and it will settle your stomach...it will also make you burp but that is suppose to happen. you can also take a vitamin b6 one hour before you drink, my mother does that and she never suffers from a hangover. and she is a major drinker.

Here are sme tips from my (many) days of drinking

1. Take a red bull or other energy drnk before you start and before you go to bed
2. Every second drink should be water as long as you remember
3. Eat early, and eat late
4. Stay off the cheap pre mixed drinks. You don't know what's in them
5. Try not to mix your drinks -pick one or two for the night

Hell, forget about the consequences and get yourself some tequila. Guaranteed to hurt but guaranteed fun.

They say that dehydration causes hangovers. Try drinking some type of sports drink before going to bed, and when you wake up.

Drink lots of water before crashing out, and when you have to get up and use the toilet (you will soon), drink even more water, and when you have to get up again and use the toilet, (you will again), drink even more water again. The water helps wash your kidneys and liver and better helps detox your system. If you drink red wine you will have even more of a hangover than white . If you drink lousy beer like Budweiser, you will , too. The dregs are what cause the hangover.

Take two Ibuprofen before you go to bed, And take two when you wake up, And drink alittle more rum in the morning and it will take care of hangover's.
