How much is a pint of beer in your part of the world?!

Question:

How much is a pint of beer in your part of the world?

it's around £3 (US$6, 4.4 Euro) here in the London UK area. Shocking.

Answers:
A pint of Guinness here can run you 750 - 1000 yen ($6.15 - $8.22 US). And don't think of ordering this in a hotel bar or you'll be paying double that for just a bottle.

A local brand would be slightly cheaper however, but not by much.

Yeah they UK sucks!

Although cheapest pint I had in the UK was a pint of Fosters for £1.50!!! wooo!!! (not the best drink in the world, mind).

most expensive was around £4!?! WTF!?!?!

here in scotland two pounds twenty five pence

Here in TX, no more than $3

Remember when looking at answers from USians that we use smaller pints. Sixteen oz. instead of a real 20 oz British pint.

In Seattle a US sized pint is $3-$4.

The old sailor's rhyme about the weight of water is certainly letting us all down. The rhyme was "A pint's a pound the whole world round." If only it were true in this case.

2 euros 50 centimos in portugal

A pint is 600mls in Australia!!
Seriously though, about $AUD5 at a decent pub

in canada aprox 5.25 per pint

I'm in central Michigan, USA. Here, anywhere from $1.25 during happy hour to $5.00 in restaurants.

Do you mean in the pub or in the supermarket? Here in north Cyprus 50cl bottle at the market is 2YTL (1.1 euro) and in cafés it can go up to 5-10 YTL (2.5-5.5 euros).
