Should Australia's drinking law be 21?!

Question:

Should Australia's drinking law be 21?

currently is 18, but i want to know what you guys think so tell your opinions or your point of view down. Why or why not should Australia's drinking law be 21?

I say it should be 21 because your body will be more mature and you will be more responsible then 18.

so what do you think?

Answers:
I think drinking 18 pints is enough. 21 is too many

Nah, I don't think there's any need for it to change. Look at all the people who are well over age and act so irresponsibly when they are drunk.

I don't know about austraila, but I can still answer, hehe.

See, it's 19 in most parts of Canada, at the moment, but 21 in the states. It doesn't really make much of a differences, the same ratios of people die in drunk driving accidents and the like. Maturity doesn't depend on age, it depends on the person. So it doesn't matter if the legal drinking age is 18,19 or 21, it's still going to have the same affects.

booooooo

No! The reason it is now 18 is beacuse we could send our boys off to war, but when they came back they couldn't drink.
The law was changed to allow "adults" to do their own thing. If we up the age of drinking, then we should up the age of consent, voting and driving. Where does it stop??

The older the better. Young people do too many goofy things under the influence. How about making it 30?

18

It's not going to make a difference. How many people listen to the law to tell them when they can start drinking? Most teenagers will do it anyway regardless of the legal age.
