What is the oldest bottle of liquor you have opened? (Not Wine)?!

Question:

What is the oldest bottle of liquor you have opened? (Not Wine)?

To celebrate my 30th birthday yesterday I cracked open a bottle of Canadian Whiskey that appears to be from 1982-1983. It was 3.75L and only cost $11.29 when new. I know, it is almost eBay-worthy, but it was a special occasion :P '83 would make it 24 years old when opened.. what is the oldest bottle you have opened?

This is a really funny story, but it wasn't to my the BFF's father. I was 14 years old (about 17 years ago) and we decided to throw a party. So we went to her father's liquor cabinet (he was a big drinker) and took a bottle of burbon. Little did we know that her grandfather was given that bottle when he was married in like 1935. Her father said it was given to his father right after prohibition. Needless to say he was telling us this while we were vomiting violently and he was eating an anchovy pizza making us even sicker. Oh, and needless to say my BFF and I weren't allowed to see eachother or anyone else for a month.

Never opened it..lol

I dont drink

Honestly, Ive never actually looked at the date on anything other than wine. Your story is kinda cool though....I would have cracked that baby open too....and good find!

150 year old Couvoiser cognac XO

a bottle of 1920's cuban rum

20 year old bottle of eagle rare burbon....it was smooth as silk

Oldest I opened was a 26 year old scotch - not as nice as the one I took a picture of (link below)
A 1955 and 1958 bottle of Glenfiddich - only £5000 per bottle - just a bit out of my price range
