How fast does your blood alcohol level go down?!

Question:

How fast does your blood alcohol level go down?

Answers:
depends on body mass and activity levels and water intake, but generally you can burn off 1 drink per hour

They say it takes about an hour or so for your body to process just one drink. Depending on weight etc. it could vary slightly.

it depends on your metabolism, but i believe it is removed from your system at about 1 drink per hour

if you drink five normal beers in one hour, it will take your body about 4-5 hours to remove all the alcohol from your system.

Depends on weight, muscle mass, how much intake, etc....
Look up alcohol calculator online and see what it tells you based on your specs.

It depends on how much and how long you drink. For example one beer or shot in 1 hour is all the liver can metabolize after that it builds up in your blood stream. The wt. of the person factors in, more wt. more blood, less wt. less blood.

I have heard that your body neutralises 1 (uk) unit per hour, although of course this varies depending on gender, physiology and metabolism

It takes one hour for your body to get rid of one drink. So it depends on how many drinks you had, and how many hours you've been drinking.

Take the number of drinks you've had, and subtract the number of hours you've been drinking. The answer will be how many more hours it will take for you to get back to zero.

Mine Never.

It takes the body one hour to remove 1 unit of alcohol from your body. to work out the unit of alcohol find the quantity you have drunk times by the adv then times by 0.001 that gets you answer. so you drink 6 doubles at 40% abv that is 12 times 40%abv times 0.001. Work it out its good.

1 drink an hour is a MYTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alcohol leaves your system at .015% per hour. An average wine cooler has .06%, beer has about .058%, liquor and wine are both about .04%.

Example: If you have 8 beers that means you have about a total of .46 so exiting at .015% an hour it will be totally out of your system in about 30 hours. That means TOTALLY out of your system.

There are several variables.
1. How much have you drank?
2. Were you ill while drinking?
3. Were you depressed or did you have a bad day?
4. What did you eat before, during, and right after?
5. How much do you weight?

Being ill, depressed, etc. can intensify any drinking experience.
Drinking water, coffee, or sodas do not lower your blood alcohol level.
Eating foods that are high in carbohydrates will slow down the possess.
Eating things high in protein will increase your metabolism and make the body work faster.
Drinking things high in sugar will push the alcohol through your blood stream extremely fast.

Take an alcohol and tobacco certification class they usually only run about $20.00.
