no. its made from Chicken that's why its called chicken. it would be illegal to cook cats and it would also be false advertising.

Source(s):
common sense

no...most of it is real chicken...however, some of it may be nasty parts of the chicken

ummm i think that is only a minor rumor i mean they do cal it chiken lol if i find out more i will let you know

Never eat at a Chinese restaurant next to a pet store.

no thats kinda stereotypical

You're not being serious are you? That's just a stupid myth.

It's possible. There was one Chinese restaurant in my home town about 7 years ago that was shut down for serving dog claiming it was beef. I live in GA.

definately chicken... it's actually cheaper than cats.

Not nowadays, There were a few joints back during the depression that would serve cat in their menus. if you went to market to buy a rabbit, you made sure to get one with the tail on it, to be sure it wasn't a cat also, Now that times are not that hard, and FDA restrictions are imposed, I am sure there is no cat being served in western Oriental restaurants.

Thats an old racist wives tale.
It is true that in China they eat cats, and dogs and monkeys and so on.
Perhaps there was an unscrupulous Chinese restaurant back in the great depression. But there is 99.99% probability that what your eating is chicken.
Best cut, grade A chicken? Probably not. But it is chicken.

that has to be an urban legend-i worked at restraunts before and health inspectors would randomly come in and do there thing-if a health inspector found a cat they will close the place down!
so its not cat!

I ordered sweet and sour pork, but it's Garfield on my fork. LOL

Of course its chicken........i'm sure it is!

They only use stray cats. There isn't much meat on them though,so they grind up the fresh slices of kitty fillet and use it in egg rolls.

No, I think its made from men's penis parts. Literally. You should get your head examined. There's a place in Cleveland called Hannah Pavillion......I would switch to cow.

If you want to believe it or not, there was a Chinese restaurant in Cranbrook BC Canada that was shut down for serving cat instead of chicken, how they got caught was someone threw the cat skins out in the garbage out back of the restaurant.

No.... there's some dog mixed in too....

I ate pu$$y in a chinese restaurant with steak sauce and what-not. It smells like chicken, but it tastes like fish.

Meow!!!! No it's chicken. Don't worry.
