Which liquors are tested on animals?!

Question:

Which liquors are tested on animals?

I am a vegetarian and an animal right activist. I try 2 keep away from things that are tested on animals. I work at a place where nothing is tested on animals but they only sell beer. I would like to what liquors are tested on animals like bacardi, grey goose and all that good stuff. Any info would Be GREAT!

I'd stay away from Mescal or some brands of tequila and vodka because they support animal cruelty.

I'm serious. Some makers of mescal and tequila will drop a live worm into each bottle where it drowns and dies a potentially happy death. There's also a type of vodka with a scorpion in it, I think it's called "Scorpion Vodka".

*sniff* those poor invertebrates. I feel so guilty drinking tequila now knowing the pain those poor worms went through....

But seriously, is this proven or is it just some crap that PETA made up because they're running out of businesses to prosecute?

I wouldn't think any liquors would be "tested" on animals... except maybe party animals.

ive gave a donkey beer befor coors to be exact

Humans are animals, if you find out were they do that call me, I may need a ride home.

because people don't wanna take risks.

They don't test liquors on animals, liquor does not have to be tested the way new drugs do. They do at times perform medical testing on animals to see the effects of alcohol on the body, but they aren't testing liquors in the way they do cosmetics or drugs. They don't use a particular brand of liquor, they just use ethanol. They also perform test with beer and wine, but it is the medical comunity doing the testing, it is not the brewers or distillers that do the testing, they just test it on themselves. So none of the brewers/distillers are responsible for animal testing, the medical comunity is the one that is responsible.

The alcohol used for laboratory testing is made in the lab, where the process can be closely observed and the potency regulated. They aren't just giving monkeys shots of bacardi to see which one they like better, you know.

The only animal I ever heard liquor was tested on was humans.
