Hence names like Vins Moussex, Spumante from Italy, Cava from Spain or Sekt from Germany or even the American versions.
However since its a wedding reception and ifyou feel you need to be particular and want to impress, go look in your local/online wine retailer for Non Vintage Brut Champagnes. They are the cheapest and yet retains the exclusivity of the branding.
