Why do i always need a beer when i finish work.?!

Question:

Why do i always need a beer when i finish work.?

Answers:
To wind down ??

because you're an alcoholic.

So you can tolerate home life?

Because you're an incipient alcoholic.

Beer's a good way to sit back and unwind. Just don't do a 12 pack!

Because you been conditioned by the system.

You are lucky I need five

because you started doing it and it's now become a habit.

your wife must be ugly

part of the routine- walk in the door, crack open an ice-cold brew, then another, then another, then....you get the idea.

I'm the same and it helps me to unwind and relax. Best beer of the week is on a friday when you get back from work and have the weekend ahead of you. Can't wait.

to chill and relax

I personally need 18 when I get home, To wind down my day.

time to worry is when u need a beer before you start work.

'Cause work sucks.

because you are a loser?

Because the world is full of ignorant people that you have to deal with everyday. Every beer you drink drops you down to their level, therefore increasing your ability to deal with them.

Me too, me too

Ever notice how good a ice cold beer is after a hard days work.... I feel ya!

I am the same way, I drink a beer to unwind and because my job drives me to drinking!

to chill out and relax, destress?
you know alcohol works like that so you have a beer
if you knew water chilled you out , destressed you and was cold and tasted good you would drink water, no?

The better question should be why do I have to finish work before I have a beer!

same here I just drink like 5 though

Annemarie is right. I used to dread work so much that I would take a half-pint of cooking sherry before setting out (not every day) and I carried a hip flask with whisky in it.

I eventually went down with clinical depression and had to take 5 months off work. This cured me of the eye-opener booze habit.

My Trades Union made it pretty clear to my employer that they considered them to be the cause of my depression, so when I returned to work my employers treated me with kid gloves, and, within six months, offered me a redundancy package on very generous terms, which I took with considerable glee.

The situation at work was that working practices were changed about every 4 months, I had three bosses within a year, all younger and less experienced than me, and they insisted that we kept on using some software that did not work, and created more work than using the old system. Nobody got a pay-rise in three years, either, even though the Company was a multi-million pound enterprise with over 20,000 employees and a buoyant share-price.

I now have a job with no commuting, and in which I sometimes have to prevent fights from starting, or break them up if they do kick off. I take a beer after work if I feel like one. What is good, however, is that if I do break up a fight ( I have to fax off a report immediately afterwards to my boss) , I get a phone call from the boss asking if I'm ok and thanking me for my efforts.

3 little words...TWELVE STEP PLAN!!!

Because, like me you work a shitty job.

Because a beer invite you and you love it.(*^^)v

Because my friend, unlike those idle beggars sponging off the state, you have been to work and you damn well deserve a beer when you have finished. After all - you have earned the money to pay for it and have laboured all day to work up a thirst. Good on you

you're addicted and have a slight drink problem? Or is it psychological you associate beer with winding down and so are unable to wind down without a beer. How about a nice cup o tea?

coz your alkoholic
