I appreciate the answers so far. I can see where the person who said that I shouldn't ruin my face or whatever is coming from, and thank you for the compliment. But thank you also to the people who think I should do it. I'm just not sure about it because I don't want to come off as "trashy" or whatever, because i'm definitely not. I'm just not the typical "pierced" girl or whatever but I think it looks cute.

Answers:

Your face it fine for a small, subtle stud. It would be cute. From your picture, one can tell that your style isn't over the top or "in your face" so big, ostentatious jewelry would not look right.

As styles and trends go, there will always be the people on the "it's trashy" side of the fence and there will be the "all the cool kids are doing it" people, too. Bottom line is that you should do what feels right TO YOU.

Yes, it hurts...but not much. Yes, it can get infected...but not if you care for it. It will be sore and tender for much longer than the pain of the actual piercing...but it goes away.

Among the most baseless arguments against piercings and tattoos I've heard has always been "what are you going to tell your mother/father/kids/boss (name it)?" It's amazing how "the truth" never seems to occur to people. If you get it and you like it, don't make excuses...be proud of your decision (same goes for choosing not to do it when "everybody else is").

So, despite my soapbox, to answer your question: yes, you have (in my opinion) a face that would look just find with a cute little stud in your nose should you choose to get one.
