Does Old Style Beer cause "digestive trauma"?!

Question:

Does Old Style Beer cause "digestive trauma"?

For me there are few things better than an icey C-Old Style after work. When people see the 30 pack sitting in my fridge they are shocked that I enjoy the pure Arteasan waters that are naturally "Kruisend". They profess that it does something to their stomachs (kind of a White Castle effect) I have never had a problem or heard of this. I wonder if anyone has had a bad experience drinking Old Stlye; or I'm dealing with a buch of beer snobs that wouldnt know a perfectly fine, resonably priced, great tasting brew if it did'nt come in a fancy green bottle?

Answers:

The whole north side of Chicago sure doesn't have a problem with it (it's the official beer of Wrigley Field).

Although it's certainly not a premium beer, by no means is it any worse than High Life, Coors, Budweiser, Pabst or any other countless average American pilsners, and it's generally considered better than Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee's Best, Natural Light, Blatz, etc. Regardless, some people do have adverse reactions to "cheap" beer. Maybe they just have sensitive stomachs.

Of course, I may be biased as I enjoy Old Style myself and have fond memoris of visiting the Old Style brewery in LaCrosse, WI was I was younger.
