How long does it take for alcoholic beverages to leave your system?!

Question:

How long does it take for alcoholic beverages to leave your system?

Answers:
To completely leave your system it takes 48 to 72 hours

Depends on how much you drank...id say 24 hrs..to be complete sure.

I was told 24 hours.

It all depends on you weight and height. Also how much you drink. But the other day i drank a 22 oz smirnoff ice and 5 shots of gin and i was clean in 2 days.

Ok, it does depend on your height, weight, sex.
But on average you should give yourself an 1 hr for every standard drink...A standard drink is defined as 12 fluid ounces of regular beer, 5 fluid ounces of wine and 1.5 fluid ounces of 80 proof distilled spirits. Each standard drink contains 0.6 fluid ounces of alcohol.
So if you drink 12 beers it will take at least 12 hrs to be completely out of your system.

Alcohol metabolizes in the body at a rate of one ounce per hour, so it depends on the alcohol content of the beverage. A good rule of thumb is one shot, one beer, and one glass of wine all leave your system in about an hour.

Your liver processes 1 ounce of alcohal per hour (1 beer, an 8 ounce glass of wine, 1 shot of 80 proof liquour) diffrent proofs will require diffrent times but that what your body will process. That is why after a nights sleep (8 hours) you will feel realitivly better but if you drank 12 beers for totoal of 3 hours before you went to bed you have 9 left in you after 8 hours of sleep then you have 1 beer left( you wont feel it) but you will be alright. That is why if you drink ALOT in a short amount of time and not puke you may wake up and still feel buzzed.

Aprox 1 hour per serving. (1 glass of wine, 1 beer, 1 shot, ect...) 3 beers would take 3 hours and so on. Everyone is different though.
