it's a cocktail matching up with your zodiac sign . . . i'm a virgo so according to some mine is a "virgin mary" . . . a slight variation on a bloody mary . . . or more generally specialized wines and microbreweries (which is weird because i was into these types of drinks before i even realized they "matched" my zodiac symbol :o)
according to some, scorpio's drink would be a "scorpion" . . . which is made something like the following:
1 ? oz. light rum
1 oz. brandy
2 oz. orange juice
1 oz. lemon juice
? oz. orgeat syrup or 2 tsp. almond essence
orange and mint to garnish
Mix the ingredients with some ice in a blender and pour over ice in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with orange and mint.
more generally you could say darker drinks such as bourbon, scotch or rum or darker wines are scorpio drinks . . . and of course, cocktails based on these darker drinks would fit . . .
even if you don't get into astrology (which i don't) it's kind of a fun way to vary drinking habits . . .
