Beer buying question.?!


Question:

Beer buying question.?

Lets say you had about 8 to 10 couples coming over your house for a summer BBQ and drink feast.

All the guys including yourself drink beer at a moderate pace. The girls drink wine and "girly drinks."

My questions are how much beer would you buy and what kinds would you buy? Remembering that not everyone likes micro's but some may want to see something other then Bud, Miller and Coors.

Here was the final decision....

12 paks of the following........

Miller Lite - to satisfiy any macro drinkers.

Sam Light - I know that my guests like light beer in general. This is one of the best.

Yuengling Lager - A fine everyday Lager.

Brooklyn Summer Ale - A nice summer ale brewed locally.


Answers:

i'd get 12 pack of micros (a lot of store sell 12 packs with a variety of micros in them), 12 pack 'generic' (bud, coors, etc.), 12 pack of hefeweizen (sierra nevada), 12 pack of a good lager, ale, pilsner, or a stout.

unless you drink a lot, you might not need them all, but it's good to have a variety. if you know what your guests like, it will make buying much easier.
