Answers:

The sour mix I make is as follows:

1 pint of freshly squeezed Lemon juice
1 pint of water
1 cup of sugar
1 egg white

Pour the sugar into a pan and the water also, and heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add in the lemon juice and stir thorugh whilst the sugar syrup mix is cooling. Before adding the egg white, taste the mix, and if necessary make more sugar syrup mix and add into the blend.

Add the egg white (this binds it) and then chill in the fridge.

Make sure you are in a margarita mood as this only lasts for 4 days.

Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere locally in your area that you could get a pre-mix, as I am based in Glasgow.

Alternatively, let Frankie and Benny's know that you go there for the Margaritas, ask them their source, and you might even get some free!
