I assume you do mean Austrian as most people seem to be reading the question as "Australian".
My favourite Austrian beer is Wieselburger. Stiegl from Salzburg and Puntigamer are also good. I wasn't as keen on G?sser which I found to have a slightly unpleasant metallic taste.
Sadly I haven't found anywhere in the UK which sells these brands and of course in Austria the beer is a lot cheaper at ~50p for 500ml bottles!

Very nice beers.
And don't choose Foster's because nobody in Australia drinks that crap.

In that case ignore what I said about Cooper's, but not Foster's because that stuff is really bad.

Nope - never found one yet. The Aussies are like us and the yanks - they are fobbed off with dish water and accept it. Belgium and Germany are the clear winners when it comes to good beer.
