Difference between Menthol and Regular Cgs?

Whats the dif. between the two? I have only smoked menthol and have stuck with it but everywhere I go people are always making fun of menthol cigs for some reason.

yes menthol is mint but i think that people make fun of you is the same reason people pick on people for drinking smirnoff i guess they think your not "man enough" if you smoke those
