I drank 2 beers 15 hours before a drug screen will it show up?!

Question:

I drank 2 beers 15 hours before a drug screen will it show up?

they do test for alcohol

Answers:
they don't test for alcohol in drug screens, and if they found some, they probably wouldn't care. most screens are looking for illicit drugs, such as marijuana or heroin or types of steroids.

alcohol in a normal human body is processed at the rate of one ounce per hour.
one beer is equivalent to one ounce of alcohol
by this theory, you should be fine....
now for the reality....what the hell were you doing drinking before a drug screen ANYway?

NO, there is noooo way for it to show up. now if u said 3 hours before, i would worry.

yea and maybe no it depends on your matabilizm

It probably wont after 15 hours...but honey, why oh why did you risk something like that. We can say probably all we want, but I can assure you the nervousness that you are feeling today was hardly worth the TINY buzz that you got off of two beers last night. You knew better than that!!!

no it shouldn't.

Bodies metabolize alcohol at different rates, but that much time since you had one.....you should be fine.

But, like it's been asked already, why are you drinking before a test??

It was only two beers, unless you weigh like 100 lbs I think you'll be ok

The news is good or bad: with 8 yrs and two service certifications on my side: Although your body will absorb a certain amount of alcohol per hour, that doesn't mean it will be completely metabolized for several hours.

When your liver processes break the alcohol down, the enzymes that are responsible linger at a higher concentration. (You'd be in trouble if they tested for cytochrome levels.) A small traceable amount remains distributed in your body.

We'll say it's 1AM, and that you haven't eaten all day. Assuming that you pounded 2 - 16 oz. Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPAs @ a little better than 9%abv each, your buzz would've peaked out at 40 to 50 minutes, and your driving would have begun to be affected. Those delicious beverages would have been totally absorbed around 5:30 this AM. If it had been 4, it would be more like 8 or 9AM.

We'll also hope that McDonalds wasn't on the way home, because what you eat is going to be a big help or hinder. The more fat you eat in this time, the longer it will take for you to get rid of the evidence. It can keep detectable levels of alcohol in you up to 3x longer than if you were fasting.
That would bring your time to 13 1/2 hours.
Seems like you're going to be okay.
You cut it really close.

It's a no-brainer that you need to hydrate and flush.

If you're still really nervous, you could do a system flush.
Not Fun. Tablespoon of sea salt to 1 QT (32 oz) of bath temp water. Mix thoroughly. Chug. It's hard. About 45 minutes later, you will evacuate several times. If you nailed down a couple of burgers and a supersize fry, they will be history, and that will take a couple of metabolizing hours off.
Good luck.

yes sir! it depends. you need to drink tons of water...to flush it out of your system. or you will be screwed over in your test. so drink water!
