Why is Martini so addicting?!

Question:

Why is Martini so addicting?

I don't get addicted to any other alcohol apart from Martini Bianco. Is there something in it that makes it addictive?

Answers:

Hi Coz!
Well, to YOU maybe, but not necessarily to the rest of the world population. Each of us have our own little (to a lesser or larger degree) addiction: Mine is cigarettes, for instance! I admit to it and live with it! It probably has a lot to do with taste. I prefer good rum, before anything else, in the liquor dept. and a semi-sweet late harvest white wine, before any other wines. Can't stand the taste of beer - the bitter hops taste leaves me cold. That's probably why a Martini Bianco wouldn't work for me . . .
Remember: all the above to a large degree are stimulants, and as such may become a substance to become addicted to. That would depend upon your body's resilience to the stimulant. It is said some folks can smoke marijuana, e.g.. and never get addicted to it, yet the majority will definitely get hooked to it as a drug. That is pure physiological!
If you know it has a negative effect, rather leave it before it becomes a problem!! PLEASE!
