Question:

Do bars take temporary (paper) ID's?

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions with just a paper ID in Washington State?

No, you have to have a photo ID. Drivers License, ID Card, Military ID and sometimes passports are usually the only forms of ID the bars will take.

It's a legal form of ID but I doubt a bar would take it alone. Try bringing that along with another card with a photo on it.

no, you must have a valid picture id

that should be fine if it has your photo on it; I would bring your old drivers' license just in case, but the paper is a temporary ID and is valid

yes they do.

It would not be a legal form of identification. A legal form of identification acceptable by a bar would be government issued, must include a picture, and description and it must show you are over the age of 21. So a paper I.D. would be illegal for a bar to accept unless it met the above criteria.
