Is it bad to keep whiskey in the back of my trunk when its really hot?!

Question:

Is it bad to keep whiskey in the back of my trunk when its really hot?

Answers:

best case - I would try and keep whiskey - 80 proof and above at room temperature.
it's alcohol - 80 proof - 40% - it won't go bad
if properly sealed, since it's 40% alcohol it will NOT permit bacterial growth - will not go bad.
What could happen is, if the bottle is not properly sealed - the alcohol could evaporate - and in this sense it would no longer be whiskey and would go bad.
Anything that is 100 proof - 50% alcohol (Yukon Jack) and above is flammable - should not be stored in the trunk of a car in a glass bottle.
