I do what do I care what you think of me. Average 24 beers a day.
Of course not- most people don't even know how simple it is to work out- just 10ml alcohol is one unit.
A large glass of wine -like my father in law takes when there is a bottle available (post-war habit) measures about 250ml and at 14% this is 35ml or 3.5 units. He might take three glasses and think he has been very good (and tell his doctor the same).
Unless they are teetotal or very very moderate, it is probably impossible to keep an accurate track.
