Old beer good?!

Question:

Old beer good?

haha whata ya think?

Answers:
Depends on the beer. Barleywines and other strong beers age nicely if you keep them cool. I have bottles of Thomas Hardy going back to the mid seventies. They won't go bad.

It's probably OK but will taste super bitter.

as long as it doesn't smell bad. I drank Molson years ago and when it was bad it smelt like a skunk.

Beer goes bad. It can either go bad if you skunk it by cooling it and then leaving it in your car and freezing it and all that stuff. Just keep it in a refrigerator or ice cooler. It is best if you drink it closest to when it was brewed. Fresh beer is the best. From the date it was brewed, most beers last around 120-180 days (4-6 months). I would recomend drinking it within the first 1-2 months for best taste.
