What is a jammy berry?!

Question:

What is a jammy berry?

used in descriptions of wine, but what exactly is a jammy berry fruit?

Answers:
It isn't a 'jammy berry,' there are really a couple of different modifiers going on. Jammy has more to do with the mouthfeel of the wine, that it is thick and rich like jam, while berry means that the flavors are similar to the flavor of berries.

tastes like that stuff between your toes.

any berry that you wouldd normally make jams from - strawberry, raspberry, boysenberry.
