what kind of rum do you prefer? Would I still need to get the frozen lemonade? etc.

most prepared mixes are a 3 - 1 ratio like margaritas. With rum instead of tequila. check whatever mix you are buying and it should tell you on the label. usually go for barcardi light rum. i don't waste good rum on a blended drink.

Depends on the size of the bottle of mix, And Bacardi light is a good rum to use.
my choice is bacardi 151 but I don't use frozen lemonade
