Is draft beer stronger than bottle/can?!

Question:

Is draft beer stronger than bottle/can?

Me and some friends were debating over the fact that draft beer can get you drunk faster than bottle. Is this correct?

Answers:

Some beers, mainly the craft beers, can be quite a bit stronger than your typical Bud/Miller beers, but that has nothing to do with how it's packaged.

For a given brand and style of beer it is the same strength no matter how it is packaged.

The difference is in how you drink it -- If your draft is from a keg you're at a party, drinking more and faster than you usually would. You'll get drunk faster that way.

Try this: take 3 shots of your favorite hard liquor. Sip them, taking an hour to finish each shot. You probably won't even feel a buzz.

Then take three more shots, put them in a glass. Drink that in an hour. You may not be drunk, but you'll feel it.

Same principle, it's not the container, it's how you drink it.
