Does anyone have a REALLY GOOD recipe for margarita slushies?!

Question:

Does anyone have a REALLY GOOD recipe for margarita slushies?

I have a picnic coming up which I usually take a bourbon or brandy slush to. I wanted to try something different and make margarita ones, but I can't seem to find a recipe I'm impressed with. I can reconfigure any serving size...but I usually do about a gallon ice cream tub full. Anyone out there got anything for me??

Answers:
Margarita Slushies

1. Gallon ziploc bag with ice and kosher salt.
2. Small bag with kool aid, juice, or tequila, triple sec, and margarita mix. Squeeze out all air.
3. Small bag inside big one. Squish and squish and do some more.
4. Soon there is slushie!

Trick to a GOOD margarita is adding some OJ to the recipe to cut down some of the tartness.

If I was making a drink, I would use one shot of tequila (if you can afford it Patron is great, smooth or anything fine if not), 1/2 oz of triple sec (or cointreau, grand marnier), 1/2 oz of orange juice, 1/2 oz of lime juice (Rose's or fresh squeeze) and about 1 oz of sour mix. You salt rim the glasses if requested and serve with wedge of lime. You might fill your container 2/3 way with this mix and add ice. the liquor will melt the ice quickly, be careful.

Enjoy!

Frozen Margarita Slush

1/2 cup lemon sorbet
1 cup lime sorbet
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons tequila
2 teaspoons triple sec (or other orange liqueur)

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process or mix by hand in a small bowl (easier for a single serving).
Serve immediately.
*Note: If sorbet is too hard straight out of the freezer to mix by hand, microwaving it for 8-10 seconds softens it enough to mix easily. No need to soften if using a blender to mix.
