Which vodka is more expensive? Skyy or Smirnoff?!

Question:

Which vodka is more expensive? Skyy or Smirnoff?

and do you recommend any inexpensive vodka. (but doesn't taste like rubbing alchohol) lol

Answers:
Skyy is more exp, but tastes cheaper. The BEST inexpensive vodka priced around that of Smirnoff is a new brand called Svedka. It has the SAME great smoothness as Grey Goose for a fraction of the price. Try it--I swear you'll love it!

Skyy is more expensive, I would stick to Smirnoff. All vodka has a rubbing alcohol taste.

I am not sure which taste better because I do not drink vodka but I know sky cost more

in response to all vodka has rubbing alcohol taste....no Belvadaire vodka has a smooth taste.

If you got money to burn try some vodka from Scotland`s Blackwood Distillers makes the triple distilled vodka. You can expect to pay between $70.00 and $1,060,000 USD for your tipple.

Drink Moskovsakya Tvarish!

Grey Goose is the only vodka I drink, it is smooth, and WAY better than any I have tried....

Between the two, I prefer Skyy if I'm making a martini or a cosmo, but Smirnoff if I'm using it as a mixer. I find Skyy to be smoother, but as you can see from other answers, everyone has a different set a tastebuds. So, buy small quanities of lots of different vodkas and try them all. That is the only way to truly determine what's best for you.

Good luck and happy mixing!

Skyy is more expensive. On 20/20 the other night they had a story on premium vodkas. They had 8 hipster type New Yorkers who claimed to be vodka aficionados do a blind taste test.
Four of the eight claimed that they would only drink Grey Goose - because it was "by far and away the best". The others had their own preferred premium brands.
In blind taste testing, only two could pick out "their" vodka when it was served up and chilled. When it was served in a Cosmo, nobody could pick out their favorite.
Grey Goose came in dead last in the blind test and Smirnoff (the only non-premium) finished third out of the 6 vodkas tested.

Moral of the story - if you want to be a hipster and spend double or triple on your vodka drinks, knock yourself out.
If you want to save a ton of money, stick with Smirnoff.

I like x-rated vodka. It is the smoothest vodka esp. if you want straight shots.

There is a pink and a clear-I recommend clear. I think the cost is the same as Smirnoff.

But I have found that not all liquor store carry it.

BTW-no rubbing alcohol taste.

Skyy is more expensive and a higher grade of Vodka; enjoy!!

Skyy is more expensive, and personally, i like smirnoff better. unofrtunatly, i also hate the taste of vodka but drink it anyways, for obvious reasons. i am in search of a good tasting vodka, but i drink what comes my way. i am not to picky, if u know what i mean. i dont have the luxery of selection.

I'm astounded at all the people who say Grey Goose is hands down the best, or all they drink. I noticed it's mostly women, who put so much mixer with it, they can't tell anyway. Like Absolute, they are marketing and packaging wizards, but in reality their vodka is mediocre at best. I'm pretty sure Skyy and Smirnoff are the same price, plus or minus a couple dollars in either direction. Want a real top shelf vodka that walks the walk?
