How long can a cigar last outside of a humidor?!

Question:

How long can a cigar last outside of a humidor?

Answers:

Cigars like about 70 degrees F and 70% humidity best. If you live where that is your normal climate, you don't need a humidor at all. The drier your climate the more you need one. Where I live the humidity is seldom above 10% in the winter or 25% in the summer. Digars dry out enough that the outer leaves start to crack in about 2 to 3 days if they are not in a humidor here.
