Feelings on drunk texting?

I have a problem! For some reason I feel the need when Im drinking to text ex boyfriends. Sometimes I even call them. Most of them know how I am and either laugh it off and know I will call them tomorrow and apologize or text me back with "go to bed sweetheart" The problem is I do it now to someone who I am truely interested in and it gets him really annoyed. How do I stop this and guys does this really piss you off?

This used to be called the "drunk dial." Texting is almost as bad. I never really cared as long as I was funny when I did it but Virgin Mobile actually has a service where you can block yourself from being able to call a number for the night. I think they actually call it their "drunk dial" service. You just type in a code w/ the phone number you don't want to drunk text and it locks you out from being able to dial/text them for the rest of the night. I thought that was a pretty awesome idea.

Other than something like that - you are pretty much hit. I never really found a way to control myself from the drunk dial, even though I rarely drink now, when I get wasted - I still call people I probably shouldn't but it doesn't bother me because it almost always works out to my benefit. If you are going to drunk dial someone, just make sure you aren't retarded drunk or you will be considered annoying as opposed to funny.
