i loke pinot grigio, and all the dry stuff. is there a genetic pull, or is it just me?

And you don't really care for CA Chardonnays and prefer the Italian Pinots or French White Bordeaux's as well as CA Sauvignon & Pinot Blancs as well, eh?
And not CA Chardonnays with secondary malolactic fermentation, eh?

I like it dry as well...
It's all in your taste buds.. but your tastes are usually influenced by your environment, what you ate growing up, etc. I'm a pinot grigio fan myself!
You like a higher alcohol content.
Maybe you just don't have a sweet tooth when it comes to beverages? I tend to like the sweet stuff, which definitely is the opposite of dry.
