Brews from around the world?!

Question:

Brews from around the world?

I am just curious what everyone thinks are the best alcoholic beverages from the following countries:

USA
Ireland
Scotland
Mexico
Wales
England
Canada
Spain
France
Australia
Greece
Sweden
Denmark
Norway
Iceland
Brazil
Argentina
S, Africa
Kenya

of course you may not have an answer for each one. I am only looking for one answer to each country and please feel free to add any country that I missed that has an exceptional alcoholic beverage.

Answers:
Limiting to just beer.
Scotland- McEwans Scotch Ale
South Africa- Banks
Denmark-Elephant by Carlsberg
Mexico - Simpatico or Bohemia, can't choose
England- Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Turkey- Efes. You did not list Turkey but it is good
USA- Used to be Augsburger. Sold to Strohs. I understand someone is making it again.
Ireland- Guiness of course

USA - LONE STAR!
Ireland- A Guiness
Germany - Dortmunder
Scotland - McEwan's Champion Ale

Canadian Beer is always good.
Ireland has the Yard of beer and Guiness

You can always find EXCEPTIONAL drinks in all of these countries by going to the right bars, or at least that has been my experience.

Texas- Shiner Bock

In my travels over the years, SAN MIGUEL seems to be available everywhere. It is also brewed at many locations around the world and the flavor is consistent and palatable. Given the question calling for but one answer, I'll nominate SAN MIGUEL as my answer.

Australia: We have the best beers, some are so good we have even named states and capitol cities after them. (eg: Victoria Bitter and Melbourne Bitter) I have tried some good imported drops such as Becks and Corona, they are good beers but I still prefer the local drops.

There was an international beer festival about three years ago here in Australia, and on the last day when it was all over the heads of an American, English and Australian brewing company went out for a beer.

The American asked for a Budweiser...
The Englishman asked for a Pilshner..
Then the Aussie ordered a lemonade.

The other to brewers were stunned and said "we thought you were going to have a beer with us?"

To which the Aussie replied "I figured if you guys were not going to have a beer, then neither would I"
