honestly, red zin and sprite with orange slices. Ez, breezy.

Another good drink is (all to taste) absolute (or gray goose, belvedere, kettle one), malibu rum, fresh lime juice, and Loza tropical (a juice blend of pineapple, mango, papaya, banana puree, orange juice). You can find it in your international foods section of your local supermarket. Tropical and yummy.

3 cups dry red wine
1 1/2 cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage (such as 7-UP)
1 1/2 cups orange juice
16 lime slices
16 lemon slices
8 orange slices
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Cointreau liqueur or orange liqueur
2 tablespoons grenadine
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
ice cubes

Stir wine, soda and orange juice, 8 lime slices, 8 lemon slices, orange slices, brandy, sugar, Cointreau, grenadine, lemon juice and lime juice in a large pitcher to combine.

Let stand 30 minutes.

Fill 8 large wineglasses with ice cubes.

Divide sangria among glasses.

Garnish each with remaining lime and lemon slices and serve.

go to foodnetwork.com and look under semi homemade cooking with sandra lee....she has LOTS of "cocktail" recipes....she is quite the lush it seems....but I must say, she has some really tasty cocktail recipes

Sangria is my party specialty...I make it at every party I throw, and get complaints if I don't have it! I know this recipe is not "fancy," but it is so good and easy to drink.

Red table wine (I just use Franzia table wine, the 3L box - I know there's prejudice against boxed wine, but there's no point getting expensive red wine just to pour other crap in it and dilute the tase)
Orange pop - 1 1/2 2L Bottles
Orange and apples slices, soaked in rum overnight with cinnamon

Combine the red wine, orange pop, and put in fruit - maybe add a little more rum if you like

It's so good, and then you can suck the rum out of the fruit you get.
