The first date is not the time to experiment. If you order something you don't like, then what? Are you going to force it down and pretend you like it? Or are you going to not drink it and let your date know you just wasted money?
Drink what you know you like, even if it's soda.
Something simple like a long island iced tea or margarita
Bourbon on the rocks,,,, if that doesn't work Martini shaken not stirred
Screwdriver doesn't taste too alcohol-ly.
Wanna boink him? Slow comfortable screw.
Order and Iced Tea or Dr. Pepper or anything you normally drink. I would not "venture out" to try some mixed drink you'd never had!
nowadays it doesn't matter, although more than likely she'll probably do a checkmark on the type of drink you order... but just order whatever you're thirsty for...
If you are not familiar with drinks, try something mild, a glass of blush wine(when asked which brand, just ask for the house brand), or a kahluah sumbrero, sorry spelling sucks)
the answer should be whatever you want, cuz youre the one whos drinking it. if you wanna go with alcohol go with something that wont leave you plastered (unless you want to be), id say a good thing to sit on would be a glass of wine or maybe a jack and coke. DONT order something you think will impress him because if you dont like it then itll just show him that youre trying to be somone youre not.
oh just get a strawberry daqurie (u obviously dont drink to often and they dont really taste like alchohol too much)
oh hell, show him your not some high matnience thing, and drink a beer :)
jk.
just look at the menu, drink menu, whatever... and order something that looks good :) they got all sorts of stuff these days.
If you don't normally drink alcoholic beverages, you'd probably be better off stick with soda, water or something so you don't end up drinking too much and making a fool of yourself or something.
Don't drink on a first date ... but if you must ... order a white wine. Only have one ... save the drinking for later when you know each other better. The last thing you want is to be drunk with someone you barely know. Have fun!
If you like sweet and tropical, go for a pina colada.
If you like urban chic go for a vodka martini, with whatever mixer they have that is good, like sour apple.
If you like fiesta, try margarita (frozen is best!)
If you like upscale, go for a shiraz (red wine) or a pino grigio (white)
Or....you can just order perrier with a twist and stay entirely sober until you decide whether you trust this guy or not.
For a first date don't try something you ahve never tried. Stick to something you know and can tolerate, you want to make sure you keep a good impression and alcohol tends to make people be someone they normally aren't. Better yet stick to a soda, if you like bourbon, maybe have then give you a shot in one of your drinks but not much more than that, you sound like someone who doesn't have a lot experience with alcohol...which is a good thing, it's ok to have one but you don't want to look like a lush.
you should order a glass of red wine
Well what I don't recommend is that you drink huge amounts of alcohol......Just order an iced tea or bottled watter. That way you don't burp. Stay away from sodas......They will only dehydrate you...
I THINK THAT IT WOULD DEPEND ON WHERE YOU GO, AND WHAT YOU WISH TO DRINK. I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD GET DRUNK OR ANYTHING, BUT I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE INAPPROPIATE TO ORDER A BEER OR WINE OR WHATEVER WITH DINNER UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO DINNER WITH A MINISTER OR A MINISTER AND HIS FAMILY. THEN YOU WOULD USE YOUR DISGRESSION.
I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD START OFF A RELATIONSHIP OF ANY KIND BY PRETENDING THAT YOU DON'T DRINK OR THAT YOU DO IF ONE CASE OR THE OTHER HAPPENS TO BE THE CASE. HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY.
EARTH DREAMS DANCER
Don't feel intimidated just be your self and order what you would normally order if you were out with friends.
I am also 25, but I do not drink alcohol. I think the best thing to do is have pop, water, or a non-alcohol drink. If you do not drink alcohol that often I would take it easy on that stuff. You do not want to go drinking something that you may get a buzz off of it. Save the alcohol for when you two know each other better. You want to be yourself and drinking alcohol is not a smart chose when you want to do that.
well it depends on what you like. I would recommend a Slutty Shirly Temple- basically its a Shirly Temple with a shot of Vodka- and really it just tastes like a zingy Temple! if you want to make it even better (but a little more pricey) get it with Razzberry Stoli/ Vodka instead of a shot from the well which can sometimes taste a little bitter. but be wary! this is really good if made correctly so SIP dont Gulp! and definately limit your drink intake- two should probably make you nice and toasty- then get water. remember - a glass of water to every shot of liquor or you'll get a headache. and stick with the same liquor all nite or you'll get pukey. and watch your drink! dont leave it at the table when you go to the ladies room or make sure you finish it before and if you are at a crowded bar, hold your drink in front of you at all times! just be safe!
wine spritzer mild and make sure you order water and only the waiter should serve. I hate to say this but some nice looking men can drug people. I do work in law and seen terrible things and I have 2 step daughters and they listen to me. And scary stories.
If you dont drink that much.. then this time would be a good time to remember this...start of with a tea or soda, and if you feel you have to drink ... have a wine cooler and sip it slow.... Have Fun!!
let him order first, then order something similar. just don't get something you don't like
vodka cranberry is good choice.
vanilla stohli and coke
You don't sound like a drinker, so just stick with non-alcoholic drinks.
Ask for a nice glass of wine, Thunderbird is always a good choice.
