Best Kind of Hard Liquor?!

Question:

Best Kind of Hard Liquor?

Me and my friends are having a celebration tonight and we are wondering what your opinions on the best hard Liquor are. We have been tight on money lately and have been buying the huge cheap bottles of crap and we are looking for something good for once. Money isn't really a problem but going above 60$ is pushing it, gotta save and all. So lets have some opinions and suggestions, also, we don't really have the most specialized stores around here so keep that in mind :)

Answers:
I am a fan of Crown Royal myself...a lot of people don't like it. Also, a good Vodka like Absolut always passes for me.

Good ole Vodka is what you should get. You can mix it with everything and everyone will probably like it. Whereas alot of people don't drink Whiskey, Gin or Tequila.

Have fun!! Drink a few for me :)

Buy a bottle of cask strength Laphroig Scotch... delicious.

moonshine

Bacardi flavored rums are the best or plain ole' Bacardi Superior. Try Patron, that's pretty good tequila. Also whatever cognac Kim Jong Il drinks, Hennessey! Yeah that's some good stuff.

VODKA! you can make tons of drinks w/ it and it mixes well with pretty much anything. You can make martinis, shots, bloody marys, screwdrivers, cape cods.... You can get the top shelf stuff, Ketel One, Grey Goose or Belvedere which is about $25 a bottle or you could go middle shelf with Absolut, for about $18-20 a bottle. It really is just as good.

Is NO hard liquor.

I suggest you purchase a bottle of rum and make some mojito's or mai tai's or just add to coke. Enjoy

Jack Daniels is good.....alittle cheaper is Wild Turkey. Have a great nite, safe drinking

absinthe is hard to find but its illegal in allot of places cause of hallucinogenic property's also scotch and Brandy's are good

Bacardi 151. I had a shot of it once and I will NEVER drink it again. If you try it, you'll know why.

my favourite is martell's corden bleu =)

but on the lower budget side, i also like jim beam black

a lot depends of if you are mixing or drinking straight....

straight I am partial to 101 proof Wild Turkey and Glenlevits single malt scotch...

If you are mixing with water then Cutty Sark scotch

If you are mixing with orange juice, cranberry juice or lime juice then 100 proof Smirnoff vodka should do the trick.

Patron, Grey Goose, Herradura, etc. There's so many different brands and levels of liquor to get. It all depends on what you guys want to drink/take shots with. Tequila, you got your cheap nasty stuff like Cuervo, but you can check out some finer tequilas which are classified under resposado, anejo or extra anejo. They have smoother tastes and taste much better than the cheap stuff.

Hennessy, Crown, are all cool too for a night of celebration

Vodka, good stuff, goes with anything.

It depends on what you're doing with it. If you're mixing it, especially with sweet mixers or soda, then you can use the cheap stuff because you're not going to taste it.

If you're drinking it straight, or with a lime wedge or olive garnish, consider Grey Goose vodka, Patron tequila, or Tanqueray gin.
