Italian Red Wine...Travonchello?!
Italian Red Wine...Travonchello?
My aunt mentioned an Italian red wine she just loves. I am trying to find the exact name on the internet but nothing comes up.
I believe she said it was something along the lines of..."Travonchello"
I know it's "chello" for sure at the end of the name. Am I spelling something wrong here? I'd like to buy it for her birthday without making it too obvious, or else I would ask her again.
Have you heard of any Italian red wine along the lines of that?

Thanks for the site, but it's definitely not "valpolicella". It started with a tra and ended with "cello".
Ty though:)

GOT IT!!! I randomly asked her (sneakily lol) and she said it was Trav - O - cello. So I believe Pinguino is correct (in spelling).
Thank you for all of your help. Now I must see if I can buy this stuff from LCBO. Keep your fingers crossed!

Could it be valpolicella? Here's a site that has the best selections of wine I've ever seen. The link is page one of several that come up with a search on "Italian red wine". Scroll through and see if anything sounds close.

Did you go through all the pages of search results? And could you ask your aunt how to spell it? You've got my curiosity up, now.
Perhaps "Travicello"?
