Why does the beer from the fridge come out like ice cubes.....?

we have bought 1 of these American Fridge freezer thingys yesterday,and there is a drink dispenser in it.
The beer comes out like ice cubes,am i stupid and put the beer in the wrong place or is the thingy broken?
shall i take it back?

i bought one a couple of months ago (600quid) its got this super fast ZAP dutton, it flash chills my beer in 10 minutes flat....theres no food in it just beer.
