What are the EXACT effects of absinthe?!
What are the EXACT effects of absinthe?
I can't find EXACT accounts of the effects. Some say hallucinate, some say you feel like you smoked pot then drank alcohol, some say it's just regular alcohol, etc.... Does anyone know EXACTLY what it does?

It EXACTLY gets you drunk. Beyond that, not much else. Given that everybody is different, or similarly, nobody's the same, the effects are going to vary slightly from one person to the next. Most people feel a particular clarity in addition to the alcohol effects, an added lucidity, as it were (hence the source of the brand "Lucid").
There is not (nor ever was) any sort of hallucination or aphrodisiac effects with traditional (i.e. containing wormwood) absinthe.
