What does 1 part mean when making a drink?
1 1/2 parts 151 proof rum
1 part Malibu? coconut rum
5 parts pineapple juice
In that what would 1 part mean? How much is one part?
Answers:
All the "parts" are the same size. So to make one drink you could use
1 1/2 ounces 151, 1 ounce malibu, 5 ounces juice.
Or to make a large pitcher full you could use
1 1/2 cups 151, 1 cup Malibu and 5 cups juice.
And so on...
