Are energy drinks and Alcohol a bad combination?!

Question:

Are energy drinks and Alcohol a bad combination?

Someone told me that this combination is bad for you health long term. I know alcohol isn't good for you but can an energy drink mixed in make it that much worse?

Answers:
One of the reasons this combination is bad is that energy drinks like Red Bull have high concentrations of caffeine in them and caffeine is a diuretic (makes you lose water through urination and sweating). Red Bull has a much higher caffeine concentration compared to soda. Alcohol is also a diuretic, so combining two diuretics together is a bad idea.

Also, energy drinks act as stimulants, so you keep your energy up and you might keep drinking beyond the point where you should have stopped.

all of its bad for you...

it gives you the best of both worlds. its like having a rum and coke and any other mixed drink. its better if it has vitamins thats some energy drinks have

of course it's worst, try not to miced them. i know they taste really good, but it's not good for your health.

They can been seen as stimulants and alchol is a depressant which can be lead to bad judgements energy drinks don't have a smell or taste to them but they can cause injury in a combination An example is redbull

vodka and red bull, great drink. Technically I'd have to say alcohol and energy drinks regardless of them being mixed are certainly bad for you, but I think you're getting at whether or not there are serious consequences regarding your health when they're mixed. No. Over time and in excess, yes.

i think that it can make it worse. i mean alcohol is already bad enough by itself. and adding it to a energy drink will certainly make it good. just try drinking each one separately and never together. u never know the consequences.

Probably

ugh so bad 4 u... dont even try it!

Energy drinks are an upper, alcohol is a downer.. Kind of cross each other for a great buzz. Jager and red bull (jagerbomb) is my fav.
