is this common, to have a shot glass drink served in a stemmed glass?

might depend on the drink. if it is a mixed shot, then yeah, i guess they would for appearance. does this place ahve regular shot glasses? maybe they dont use em there cuz people steal em, so they figure stemmed glasses r fine.
either that or the bartender was feelin fancy that day
