a good one is watermelon n vodka
simply get a whole watermelon,
cut a hole it it so u can sit the thin part of the bottle in it
place the open bottle in it
and leave for as long as it takes for all the vodka to be absorbed

alcohol, fruit, bowl.... that's soaking, good to do with fruits destined for cake.

that is super easy, a sure fire method is vodka and watermelon. cut it in chunks, pour vodka on it, let it steep for a little while, n then eat it. the vodka afterward is sooooo good :)

I tried the watermelon thing... and the vodka NEVER soaked into the melon. I finally had to cut it open and cut it into chunks and soak it. To a certain degree the longer you soak, the better, but there comes a point when the fruit is saturated and it is useless, unless you are trying to ferment the fruit into something else. For instance using brandy and fruit to make wine.

The best thing to do is soak the alcohol and fruit over night, then just make a huge batch of punch, leaving the fruit floating. As people eat the fruit and drink the punch.... blotto
