Best White Wine for a Red Wine Lover?!

Question:

Best White Wine for a Red Wine Lover?

I love red wine!
I have found that most white wines are way too sweet for me...
However, I want to broaden my horizons and try a white now and then.
Can you recommend a nice White that is BOLD and DRY..
I would like a brand name too AND I dont like to spend more than $25 on a bottle.

Answers:
In oregon, we're really big on Pinot Gris (aka Pinot Grigio) it's a really fruity white, but not sweet. If you can find it, I recommend Eola Hills Oregon Pinot Gris. It's usually around 10-12 bucks, but can be found for 8 or so on sale some times. Of course, depending on where you live, the price could be different. I live near the winery so transportation costs don't really factor in there.

HONEY I DONT TTHINK ANY GOOD WHITE WINE COSTS LESS THA 25 A BOTTLE SRRY BUT UR OUT OF LUCK!!

Look for a DRY Riesling or Chardonnay from WASHINGTON state! They have fantastic DRY whites that pair nicely with foods. Good luck.

Try Chardonneys and Bordeaux, you'll be surprised as to how dry they can be. It is personal taste. I also don't like sweet white wines...you will find that you won't have to spend 25$ either...santé

I am also a red wine lover but sometimes like a white wine w/ chicken or fish. One of my favs is Covey Run - Chardonnay. It runs $7 to $10 a bottle. Washington State
Cheers!

Chardonnay 2002.

I forget the specific name right now but its a limited edition and costs around $23-$25 a bottle. It is a really nice tasting chardonnay. keep your eyes out.

Red Wine person here as well. But I really enjoy Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.

Sauv Blanc choices I would include Isabel Estate from New Zealand, Silverado Vineyards and Merryvale Starmont from Napa

I also love King Estate Pinot Gris from Oregon and Luna Vineyards from Napa.

Others of interest for me include Cambria Katherine's Chardonnay.

Not one of these is over $25. generally in the $10 - $20 range.

Good luck.
