Has anyone been to Fogo de Chao?
I'm in Houston, but I know it costs about $50 for dinner and $30 for lunch. But I'm just wondering if there are any extra costs involved. Do they charge extra for drinks (non-wine) or dessert? I'm planning on taking someone there and just want to know if I should expect hidden or extra costs apart from the price to get in. I don't like unpleasant surprises. :)

By "drinks", I meant non-alcoholic beverages, like water and soda. Also, what are the average prices for desert and/or drinks, if they do charge for it?

Great choice! One of my favorite places in H-town. Even though it sounds expensive, for what you get I think the price is okay. You do, however have the added expense for drinks, but I don't think they hit you for anything else. If you drink, you have to try the caparinias(?); they also have a good wine selection. Provecho!
This place is one of those great date places. Go on an empty stomach, the Brazilians believe in pay one price and sample everything. Basically you have a huge salad bar for your sides and guys carrying various meat screwers walk around serving you. You're drinks are not included, nor is desert (if you have room). I would not recommend this place for lunch.
