When at party's and various social events is fairly safe to share alcoholic drink and drink after others?
Is safe since the alcohol has the ability to kill most germs?

First off I think that's a wives tale the alcohol will kill germs. Especially if your talking about beer or wine, maybe hard liquore like vodka could kill some germs. Secondly though, who cares, if your drinking with friends just drink out the bottle and stop being a germaphobe. Personally I get offended by people who are all germ crazy. If I'm with a bunch of buddies and were passing around a bottle of tequila and someone wants to pour it into their own glass or something I kinda take that as an insult like your too good for us or were too nasty for you. Makes you not really one of the guys.
